The white wine Leopoldine Pinot Blanc Südtirol DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Castel Sallegg has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear straw yellow with green reflections. Fragrant notes of ripe apple and apricot on the nose, followed by tropical fruit and a hint of citrus aromas. Elegant on the palate, well-balanced, mineral, with a crisp acidity spectrum, unfortunately a little drying on the finish.
