The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Castello di Albola has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear bright ruby red. Compact and fruity nose, ripe strawberries, liquorice, cotton candy, delicate vanilla on the finish. Balanced palate and texture, seems slightly creamy, a pronounced red berry centred Chianti Classico, well integrated wood use.
