The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello di Verrazzano has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese
It has a dark ruby red colour. On the nose there are aromas of ripe strawberry and cherry, as well as dried rose petal, it is a finely drawn and inviting bouquet. On the palate it is balanced, salty, with tightly woven tannins on the tongue. It's a great wine.
