The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello di Verrazzano has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Rich ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Quite closed on the nose, with hints of lilac and tar, followed by plenty of plum. Lots of drying tannins on the palate, appears quite brittle.
