The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Castello di Verrazzano has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Chianti in Italy.
Rich, dark garnet red with orange reflections on the rim. Aromas of ripe blackberries and sloes, light lilac and juniper berries, with a hint of green pepper. It stretches comfortably over the tongue with velvety, finely-meshed tannins, dense on the palate, shows good drive and fullness, with a harmonious and quite long finish.
