The red wine La Prima Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello Vicchiomaggio has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark shining, elegant ruby. Still restrained nose, delicate cherry fruit. On the palate noble texture, fine sweetness, neat drive, youthful tannin, can and should still mature with age.
