The red wine Colombaio Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Cava d'Onice has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a bright ruby red colour. There is a fragrant nose of dried raspberry, dried goji berry, a hint of blackberry, and dried rose petals. It is beautifully juicy on the palate, with a vivid fruit core, opening very brightly, and it has a great vibrant finish.
