The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Cavalchina has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark ruby with a tendency to garnet. In the nose ripe cherries and ripe forest berries, underlaid by delicate savouriness, gentle scent of dried rose petal. At the palate dense and compact, spreads out richly, easily alcoholic in the middle part, with a warm finish, nevertheless certain harmony.
