The red wine Cicogna Merlot Colli Berici DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Cavazza has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, bright, rich ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. The nose is clearly red rose petal, with dried rose hip and a hint of dark chocolate, followed by fine notes of black tea. Noble ripe fruit notes on the palate, on fruit tea, with easily perceptible, grippy tannins and a beautiful salinity on the finish.
