Tasting Notes
This 1.6 ha single vineyard was planted exclusively with Chardonnay in 1962 and produces a Blanc de Blancs full of character. Bright golden yellow, silver reflections; delicate mousse. Fresh apple fruit with a hint of walnut, notes of meadow herbs and pomelo peel, smoky savouriness. On the palate taut, closely meshed, bone-dry texture, salty echo. A very vinous Champagne that benefits from decanting; a versatile food wine with great ageing potential.
