Strong red; restrained bouquet, notes of cherry, vanilla, liquorice, also slightly green bell pepper, subtle wood; fresh attack on the palate, medium-bodied, pithy tannin, slightly drying wood note, still ends somewhat abruptly. Characterful, straightforward wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Gamaret.
