Strong red; clearly woody on the nose, but also fruity, quite deep, black cherry, roasted notes, black tea; full-bodied attack on the palate, then austere, slightly bitter tannins, medium-bodied; slightly brittle finish. Plucky, challenging wine, somewhat difficult at the moment.
