Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet, almost opaque core, violet reflections. Restrained nose, delicate notes of plums and dark berry confit, subtle hints of spice. Elegant texture on the palate, very fresh structure, cassis and blueberry fruit, lemony at the back, not as powerful as usual at this stage, lacks flesh and length, further development remains to be seen. Does not quite live up to the claim of a Premier Cru.
