The red wine Pagodes de Cos, vintage 2005 from the winery Château Cos d'Estournel has been rated in 2006 with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region St. Estèphe in France.
Very strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening, fine dark forest berry fruit on the nose, underlaid with fine wood spice, delicate notes of raisins and cinnamon, very inviting bouquet. Elegant on the palate, very polished, appears full of finesse and almost light-footed, pleasant spicy note in the aftertaste, lingers very well.
