The red wine Pagodes de Cos, vintage 2006 from the winery Château Cos d'Estournel has been rated in 2007 with 89 - 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region St. Estèphe in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet, almost black core, violet rim. Fine cherry fruit on the nose, but otherwise quite restrained and shy. Crisp and fresh on the palate, fine citrus fruit tones, firm tannins that are well integrated, racy, stays quite well on the palate, medium length, appears rather slender overall.
