Tasting from 09.07.2019: Ulrich Sautter

Blackberry and elderberry, black cherry and dark chocolate, pepper. Smoothness and freshness on the palate, lots of juice and mineral undertones, has the volume and charm of the southern Rhône and the mineral, plucky style of the north. Some of the grapes come from the neighbouring vineyards of the Côte Rôtie.

More about the tasting

Blackberry jelly, elderberry juice, beet, black pepper, beautiful clarity on the nose. Very well balanced on the palate between oiliness, mellow tannins, a hint of sweetness in the fruit, mild acidity and a savoury, freshly fruity, grapey finish. Well-hidden depth.
