The red wine Les Perrières (de Lafleur), vintage 2023 from the winery Château Grand Village has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Bordeaux Superieur in France.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, brightening at the rim. Fine fresh herbal savouriness, dark wild berries, some sea buckthorn, liquorice notes, for the first time a pure Cabernet Franc (or Bouschet), nuances of tobacco, floral, an iron touch. Full-bodied and muscular on opening, then very pure and fresh, vibrant and mineral, salty and long-lasting, a firm food wine with good ageing potential.
