Dark ruby colour with purple reflections and a subtle lightening at the rim. Aromas of delicate ripe plum, a hint of violet and a delicate savoury touch. The palate is juicy with fine cherry, silky, ripe tannins, very good structure and persistence and a touch of dark nougat on the finish. For the first time this has the same blend of 50/50 Merlot and Cabernet Franc as the Lafleur.
