Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby with an opaque core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a highly attractive, multi-faceted bouquet with nuanced ripe red berries and a touch of cloves. The substantial palate is silkily textured with perfect tannins, dark berry fruit and a delicate chocolate touch. with dark minerality and a touch of salinity on the finish which lingers for minutes even in this youthful phase. The ideal meeting of a perfect Cabernet Franc and a great Merlot - a Lafleur with all the makings of a classic.
