The red wine Le Dôme Saint-Émilion AOC, vintage 2006 from the winery Château Le Dôme has been rated in 2007 with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Bordeaux in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet, black core, violet reflections. Dark berry confit on the nose, chocolate, spices, delicate smoky wood notes. Extremely fresh on the palate, peppery spice, a firm backbone, chocolate, delicate bitter hints in the finish, which are still covered by the dark berry fruit, but can be easily smoothed out with fining. Great length, a "vin de garde", bitter chocolate on the finish.
