Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-garnet in colour, with ochre reflections and a delicate watery rim. Initially restrained on the nose, then plum fruit with tobacco undertones and dark nuances of rye bread and olives emerge. Full-bodied, highly elegant and finely structured on the palate thanks to subtle tannins and well extracted sweetness. Hints of liquorice and mineral tones on the dark finish, which lingers for a long time. (WeinArt, 8/2010).
