Tasting Notes
Strong, delicately undercoated ruby garnet, delicate watery rim. Dark berry fruit with a smoky-tobacco background, somewhat idiosyncratic nuances of dried hay and burnt hair, which cannot be classified as merely pleasant. Juicy, dried fruit, mineral core, light-footed structure, somewhat drying tannins in the finish, chocolaty aftertaste, good sweetness in the aftertaste. (WeinArt, 8/2010)
