Tasting Notes
Deep ruby colour with purple reflections and a hint of ochre on the rim. An attractive bouquet of fruits of the forest, plum, a hint of liquorice and blackberry confit and subtle tobacco notes. The palate is substantial and complex, with pronounced fruit expression, ripe dark fruit, integrated, supporting tannins, then some nougat on the finish. Elegant and lasting with definite ageing potential.
