Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, subtle edge brightening. Hearty cherries, fresh plums, pleasant spicy notes, cardamom. Juicy, elegant, fine integrated tannins, subtle fruit sweetness, red berries, fresh structure, mineral and persistent, a great food companion. Very successful despite a difficult vintage.
