The red wine Cahors AOC Ambroise de l’Her, vintage 2009 from the winery Château Nozières has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Malbec from the region Cahors in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Clear new wood spice on the nose, ethereal note, delicate orange and grapefruit zest, underlaid with subtle nougat. Sweet black berry confit, extract-sweet texture, fine acidity, chocolaty aftertaste, lingers well, some cocoa on the finish, notes of licorice and cherries on the finish.
