Tasting Notes
Intense carmine red with good depth, an ochre hue, brightening on the rim. Attractive bouquet with floral nuances, notes of ripe plums, liquorice and blackberries, orange zest, a hint of nougat. Juicy, medium-bodied, has slimmed down with age, some red berry nuances, barely perceptible tannins, a Burgundy-like finish, something like an old fashioned claret, still packed with sufficient power and length. A true long-distance runner.
