Tasting Notes
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. The nose is delicately tobacco-like, with fine oak nuances, a hint of blackberry and cassis, underpinned by delicate red cherry. The juicy, elegant palate is finely structured and mineral with a silky texture, and fine fruit, with a delicate saline minerality and a hint of nougat on the finish. It has reached its first drinking maturity, endowed with the elegance of the cooler vintage, possesses length and the potential for further ageing.
