Bright, deep dark ruby purple colour. Initially shows slightly smoky notes, then lots of tobacco, rich, dark cherry, inviting and clear. Full-bodied and rich in attack and finish, opens with vivid, fine-meshed tannins, lots of ripe and sweet berry fruit, long finish.
