The red wine Guado de' Gemoli Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Azienda Agricola Chiappini has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby with a slight purple hue. Initially on the nose, pronounced smoky notes, followed by hints of dark redcurrant and cherry compote. Extremely juicy on the palate, lots of dark berries, then opens up with grippy tannins, unfortunately somewhat drying and brittle on the finish.
