Bright, intense ruby with a slight garnet edge. Opens with pronounced smoky notes, then dried tomatoes and pickled anchovies, then plums and black cherry. The palate is dense and compact, showing plenty of grippy tannins, slightly smoky-earthy components, salty and long finish.
