The sparkling wine Blànc Franciacorta DOCG Extra Brut, vintage 2020 from the winery Contadi Castaldi has been rated in 2025 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with persistent mousse. Smells slightly of marzipan, yellow apple, some citrus fruit and milk chocolate on the nose. Well-integrated mousse and crisp apple fruit on the palate, balanced, harmonious, with good drive on the finish.
