The red wine Cerretta Barolo DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Conterno Giacomo has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby with slightly lightening rim. Charming, flattering nose, opening with notes of dried rose petals, juicy cherry, some raspberry as well as rhubarb. The palate is big and deep with gripping, dense tannin along with some truffle and lots of plum. This has everything for a long life.
