The red wine Barolo DOCG Francia, vintage 2020 from the winery Conterno Giacomo has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby with a fine garnet rim. Very intense and inviting nose, with a rich aroma of fresh roses, raspberry and truffle in the background. Full-bodied and gripping on the attack and finish, present, dense tannins with a sweet core, firm drive on the finish, with a light iodine aftertaste.
