Powerful, bright ruby with a slight garnet sheen. An appealing nose with rich notes of ripe cherry, vivid and fresh, and underpinned by spicy notes. There is a nice interplay on the palate, with good juiciness, at the same time lots of ripe fruit, finely-meshed tannins, and it has a long finish.
