First savouriness, nougat, truffle and dried orange peel. Beguiling! Powerful, grainy tannins on the palate, ripe and clinging, initially mellow. The palate has a pleasurably sedate breadth, which is broken and contrasted by juiciness and tactile mineral components. Very good length.
