Tasting from 14.07.2021: Gerhild Burkard, Valentine Mühlberger

Typical Cabernet of dark berry fruit, cassis, elderberry and spices of liquorice, juniper and subtle oak notes. Hearty and tasty on the palate with a ripe, silky tannin structure and juicy acidity, and a dark minerality. Bitter chocolate and fruity Espelette pepper in the aftertaste. Powerful, long finish with definite ageing potential. A true Loire classic!
