Ripe ruby red. Smells like a herb garden, with notes of chervil, tarragon and a little lovage, alongside waves of berry jam. There's a lively attack thanks to the fresh, crisp acidity and the palate feels very well structured with powerful but polished tannins. Long and demanding.
