An atypical Côtes du Rhône: 100 percent Syrah from the northern Rhône. Hard to distinguish from a good Cornas or Saint-Joseph in its complex, herbal-spicy, Syrah-typical aroma. Tightly woven tannins, good fullness with a mineral base. Massive alcohol, but nevertheless compact, fresh and harmonious.
