Tasting from 08.09.2016: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem

Uses the same high-tech plastic cork as Ponsot. On the nose there's Andaliman pepper and raisin - perhaps a touch "warm" and toasted, but on the other hand still ethereal and cool thanks to wild raspberry and juniper notes. After contact with air the bouquet is almost Pinot-like. Silky and delicate on the palate thanks to fine-boned acidity and very subtle tannins. There's a great interplay between juicy fruit and a subtle minerality. The abiding impression is of incredible length with fine density.. and at 12% alcohol by volume!.
