The red wine Prieuré Saint Christophe Mondeuse, vintage 2022 from the winery Domaine Giachino has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Mondeuse Noir from the region Savoie in France.
One of the finest calling cards for Mondeuse, from the famous steep slopes of Mont Granier. Matured in large wooden barrels. The wine pours deep dark into the glass. The nose reveals dark fruit, violets, pepper, mountain herbs and a fresh fragrance. Juicy on the palate, with precise, invigorating acidity and a fine-grained, perfectly mature tannin structure that whets the appetite.
