Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet, ochre rim. Rather restrained on the nose, leafy nuances, little hint of fruit. Also restrained on the palate, taut texture, fresh acid structure, tends to be somewhat dry, appears over-extracted, has power but little charm, the Cabernet Franc used for the first time gives the wine a delicately soapy nuance. Its good times are probably already behind it. Artist's label: Jim Dine.
