The sekt »1625« Grande Cuvée Brut Nature, vintage 2020 from the winery Eckehart und Johannes Gröhl has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Gerhild Burkard, Romana Echensperger with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Spontaneous fermentation notes and pronounced chalky aromas dominate the fragrance. On the palate, the wine is straight as an arrow and slender, with firm acidity, very fine mousse and a penetrating salinity. But the whole is not austere, there is also a layer of suppleness that envelops everything.
