Bright, intense ruby red. A very approachable and inviting nose, with aromas of ripe blackberries and cassis, underpinned by slightly spicy notes, with a hint of tobacco in the background. On the palate, plenty of ripe, dark berry fruit; it opens with robust, firm tannins and has a long finish with plenty of tobacco notes.
