The white wine Südtiroler Cuvée Weiss Beyond the Clouds DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Elena Walch has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intense, bright straw yellow with sparkling shimmers. Balanced and multi-layered bouquet of dried pear, banana and a slight dash of honey. A precise onset and flow, develops excellently, displaying acidity as well as saline and fruit nuances in abundance with a briny long finish.
