The white wine Grande Cuvée "Beyond the Clouds" DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Elena Walch has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Brilliant, rich straw yellow. Intense and appealing nose of cloves, some coriander, then lots of tropical fruit, ripe baby pineapple and stewed apricots, very inviting. Fills the mouth full, creamy and interwoven in the course, firm pressure, wood is very well integrated, white chocolate on the finish.
