The spumante Piancastello Brut Riserva Millesimato Trento DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Endrizzi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright luminous lemon yellow with a tendency to platinum. Elegant smoky nose, flint, quince, dried pear, some white peach, and reverberating with bitter almond. It spans enormously on the palate with juiciness and clarity, and is salty with a minimal bitterness. It has plenty of traction, an elegant mousse and plenty of persistence.
