The sweet and dessert wine »Faß Nr. 4 Alte Reben« Kasel Nies'chen Riesling Auslese***, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Erben von Beulwitz has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
The wine shows a lot of herbal savouriness on the nose, along with smoky notes from the slate. On the palate the wine has a lot of tension, good substance, nerve and tactile minerality retain the upper hand over fruit and oiliness, which will age very elegantly.
