The white wine »Alte Reben« Kasel Nies'chen Riesling Auslese, vintage 2005 from the winery Weingut Erben von Beulwitz has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Buttercup-yellow colour, deliciously evolved nose of white berries and also burnt sugar. On the palate almost like smoked tea with fresh acidity and elegant sweetness, like that of pickled pumpkin. Immensely complex, exciting, mature but not old.
