The white wine »Veltenbummler« Veltliner trocken Laura Espenschied, vintage 2018 from the winery Espenhof – Nico Espenschied has been rated in 2019 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Fine phenolics, fresh crunchy apple and light blossom on the nose. It's round and juicy on the palate, structured with a fine grip and savoury minerality. Concentrated apple fruit and vegetal hints reappear towards the finish, alongside a citrus freshness. Complex, lively, animating.
