The orange wine »Hautnah« Roter Traminer trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Espenhof – Nico Espenschied has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Traminer from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Orange peel, meadow herbs, sage candy, lemon balm and wormwood in a typical Traminer nose. Recurring sage on the palate with strict phenolics, almost a little furry. Pithy acidity on the attack, which becomes milder towards the dry finish.
